About
A condensed font using constructivism history to convey the cold-hearted steel of machinery and progress. Gridlock tries its best to fit as much info as possible in a small space. Thinking about how condensed fonts feel, I imagined them being squished together, neatly in line and with the subtle curves and smoothness of bent steel -- just like cars in traffic are forced to work together to make it to their end destination.
